no call for this and what the network does in response will be very telling.

Ugh, I hate that word. There's no reason on this earth to use it.

I don't know who Samantha Bee is, but I'm guessing I wouldn't watch her show anyway.

Glad to see some high profile mouthpiece on CNN (John King) speaking out strongly against Bee

Though it had mostly been conservative critics blasting away at Bee this morning, CNN joined in this morning in excoriating TBS’s late-night star.
“Let me just say, one parent to another – parent of a daughter – no, no, no!” CNN’s John King said of Bee’s remark, shortly after the White House issued its statement.
“Criticize the president’s daughter, criticize the policy. Some things just aren’t funny,” King insisted.
“Roseanne’s racism is not funny. Samantha Bee using that word is not funny. Sarah Sanders just called it vile and vicious language. I could not agree more,” he continued.
CNN and TBS both are networks of Time Warner, which is awaiting news as to the fate of its plans to merge with AT&T.
“CNN is owned by Time Warner. This is a family issue, if you will,” King acknowledged on air.
“Apologize. Apologize. And the company – forgive me, I work here – but the company should say something too,” the CNN veteran said.

IIRC, the Southern Baptist Convention supported abortion in cases of rape, incest the life of the mother, etc. until 1980.

Read a little.

Oh just stop with the fake and disingenuous attacks on liberals.

Have you asked any liberals how they feel about this topic?
Are you outraged when the right engages in nastiness?

Take off your blinkers and take look around.
The nastiness is coming from all sides exacerbated by Trump and the culture of name calling he fostered.. Take a look at your own President. It's clear who has Trump derangement syndrome.

It’s fine to bully and say the most hateful things to people you don’t agree with ONLY if your on the liberal side. I’m glad these people are showing their true colors, it will only help Republicans this year.

Remember the slogan “Love Trumps hate” in 2016? Look at them now, hate is all they have left.

^^^This. You cannot compare the two. While Samantha Bee did go a bit too far with the C-word, to compare it to a racist rant is disingenuous. It is quit funny the same people who defended Roseanne are now calling for Bee to be fired.

I think the comment was inappropriate.

I think racism is worse than foul language.

I think that the Rosanne story is getting more attention because she is more well-known than Samantha Bee, who I am sure many people have never even heard of prior to this.

I think she is crude, rude and her language choices takes away from any valid point she was trying to make.

I don't care if they fire her -- I don't watch.
Even worse, she’s not funny. I tried to watch because I loved her on The Daily Show years ago, but apparently it was just the writers.

I seriously doubt you can be this ignorant.
