Duplantis’ video comes after another televangelist, Kenneth Copeland in Texas, purchased the Gulfstream V jet for $36 million.
Both televangelists defended their use of private jets during a joint appearance on Copeland’s program, saying that commercial airlines filled with “a bunch of demons” that get in the way of their busy schedules.
Well the Lord told him he needs to travel quickly and comfortably. I'm sure there are plenty of sheep willing to give their last dollar to make sure that happens.
Most televangelists are opportunists who will take everything you have if they can!
Not just televangelists. There is a megachurch in O.P. Kansas, the minister salary is in 6 figures. He gets a new Mercedes yearly. A few blocks from there are people living in cardboard boxes under an overpass. Wonder what their Jesus would say to them?
Fairly certain Jesus' decision to travel on donkey was more due to humility and modesty and the fact that you can't preach to the masses at 40,000 feet. If not for those facts he could've just magically appeared wherever he wanted to be.
