Much of the non-elite areas of California despite having respectable household incomes have extremely low per-capita income's because of the tremendous amounts of anchor babies that are born.

California not only has a high cost of living, European emulating socialist taxes with the third-world quality public services that even many people in the poorest of countries would find unacceptable but they have tremendously high birth rate in poorer and working-class cities as the only way to get six-figure valued handouts annually per familiy.

Compton, CA has a median household income of 45,000 compared to 46,000 in Charleston, WV and 47,000 in Grand Forks

But Compton, like much of Southern California has some of the worlds highest child to adult population ratio's so the per-capita income in Compton is 14,000 compared to 28,500 in Grand Forks and 34,000 in Charleston, West Virginia

Kentucky which is laughed at by many liberals has per-capita income's that a $10,000 higher than East Los Angeles despite similar median household incomes.

All this is due to the tremendous amounts of people from the third-world flooding California and having tremendous of children to get a windfall from those socialist level taxes on the middle-class

Every time I have been in a poorer section of LA, Orange and San Diego County I am in shock by the tremendous amounts of children nearly everyone is childbearing age has.

Of course this is because the more babies they have, they go to the front of the line to collect their part of California's 10.3% middle-class state income tax, with 10.25% sales taxes in many areas, property taxes that would make people in New Jersey blush also to feed the welfare state
