California has essentially killed off their middle class by flooding their state with poor immigrants and passing non-sense taxes and laws that restrict supply leading to higher costs. I would think it would be worth wild to find out why California has the fastest shrinking middle class in the country.

Taxes over Texas?

Good, then. I am sure they don't want you. To each their own. I am from Cali, hate it, love Dallas, and would love to live there but for my family.

Cali, or at least the Bay area, is for the very rich or very poor. You are either a gentry lib, an imported techie, a parasite, or are suffocating from having to support the parasites.
