This shouldn’t even be an issue . It’s crazy California is crying over illegal alien criminals being deported .

Such a striking contrast. On one side the Democrats want illegal alien criminals to remain in the country so they can commit more crime and on the other Trump wants the laws obeyed and them to be deported.

And the irony of it is ICE is forced to do these courthouse arrest BECAUSE of sanctuary city policy of not working with the federal government to get criminal illegal aliens picked up at the jails . Getting them at the jail would make the most logical sense .

Yovanny Ontiveros-Cebreros arrived at the Sacramento courthouse expecting to plead not guilty to felony drug charges and be allowed to go home. His attorney had said that was standard procedure.
Instead, an immigration agent approached the 38-year-old after his arraignment and put him in handcuffs, saying he was wanted for unlawful reentry into the United States.

Entering a courthouse does not make one “exempt from law enforcement,” said Mark Krikorian, executive director of the Center for Immigration Studies, which supports tighter controls.
“The reason ICE has to do arrests on the street or in courthouses or other public places is precisely because the anti-border jurisdictions have prevented them from doing it in a safe, controlled environment in the county jails,” Krikorian said. “These sanctuary jurisdictions are creating the very problem they’re complaining about.”

ICE arrests in courtrooms escalate feud between California and Trump administration over immigration policy

We fought one civil war over the issue of state or federal supremacy and Democrats lost. I guess they want another one.

Re-entry into the U.S. illegally is a felony. Now ICE is supposed to ignore felons and just allow them back into our society?

California liberals are angry we have immigration laws at all it seems .

Every other country has immigration laws that they enforce .. including Mexico . Yet they make it seem like America is the only country like this due to mean old Trump .

A nonsensical policy that leaves people with common sense scratching our heads. Another great example of Democrats pandering to special interests and driving identity politics.
