Clearly its a slap in the face of Obama and probably why Trump is considering this. Or perhaps Sylvester Stallone asked him to do it like the Jack Johnson pardon.

I think Blago is a character and very entertaining. I would watch his reality show if he was to do one. I watched his lawyer on CNN and it was not so cut and dry that he was guilty. His first trial he was convicted of simply making a false statement. The jury could not come up with a consensus on the serious charges. He was retried and convicted on 17 counts. His lawyer made some interesting points on all of this. I remember in the past hearing some of the wiretaps that were suppose to prove he was guilty and it was convoluted at best. So I have no idea if he is really a bad guy or got railroaded for some other reason. 93% of federal defendants get convicted. The question is are 93% of them actually guilty?

Let him out. Its not like he is going to repeat his offense.

Blago is a sleaze ball who faced very similar charges to what Manafort and Cohen will probably be facing in the near future.

Trump is showing his campaign team members that, if they remain loyal and "don't flip," he'll pardon them too, just like he might Blaggo.

This would be a terrible decision by Trump, but he's probably too arrogant to think otherwise.

Note, I also feel that his 6 years already served is more than enough to dissuade him from breaking the law again.

Good point. Its not like he is going to be selling any more senate seats.
