So what are your thoughts on this. Back in 2014 the right held him up as what was wrong with the left.
Will the right support the pardon? Will they somehow justify what just four years ago they blasted?

While it's true that Blagojevich was as corrupt as they come, there is quite a bit of difference between the commutation of a sentence and a full pardon. A commutation reduces the sentence, but leaves the conviction intact. A pardon vacates the conviction altogether.
Blagojevich has served six years of a fourteen year sentence for trying to sell a U.S. Senate seat. One could make a case for commuting his sentence, but I don't see any case to be made for pardoning him.
Then again...John Wesley Hardin was pardoned in 1894 by the Governor of Texas, following his release from prison after serving seventeen years of a 25-yr. sentence for murdering a deputy sheriff, one of at least 20 men he was reputed to have killed. Compared to the J. W. Hardin case, the prospect of pardoning Blagojevich doesn't seem so bad, I guess.

All these words and you have not mentioned why Trump is contemplating intervening and what is the response on the right considering they villifiied the guy.

perhaps trump thinks the sentence was unfair? until trump actually commutes blagos sentence, and tells us why he is doing it, we wont know what is on trumps mind now will we?

It'd be professional courtesy amongst those who'd use public office for personal gain.
trump is not considering pardoning blagojovich, but rather he is considering commuting hie sentence, and there is a difference.
He gets out of jail..so he has a record?
I thought this was a joke when I first read it..then I realized..with Trump's hatred of all things Obama, commuting Blagojinevich's sentence makes a perverted kind of sense.
The fun part, as always, will be watching his base eat it up
