Former President Clinton said in an interview broadcast early Sunday that he doesn't think he could be elected now because he doesn't like embarrassing people the way President Trump does.
"I couldn't be elected anything now 'cause I just don't like embarrassing people," Clinton told "CBS Sunday Morning."
"You have to really ignore what the context was," Clinton said. "But, you know, she’s living in a different context. And she did it for different reasons. But I just disagree with her."
He has become a doddering old fool. However I would give my eye teeth for democrats that were of his ilk then instead of the ones we have in office now.
He couldn't be elected now because Ross Perot isn't splitting the conservative vote.
Agree.
He was an accidental president. Like Wilson, he never got 50% of the vote. The media went on and on about how Bill was the quintessential politician, but I never thought he was that good; he couldn't stay out of trouble and wasn't a great speaker.
Now he's a book salesman. Some people will read his book and a lot of them will claim to be "reading between the lines" and will believe they have been told "what is really going on" in Washington.
Bill is not the same guy, he seems off. I wonder if he’s been doing drugs or something.
It's called aging. Hell, he did a horrible job campaigning for Hillary.
