Man, Trump is really treating his buddies like S#$%. The optics of all of this is unbelievable on so many levels. The flip side is if Trump intervenes in any way shape or form might be even worse.

I'm not defending Manafort. I don't line the guy & his alleged crimes from 10 years ago have nothing to do with Trump or the Russian dossier. I just want the law to apply to all people equally & that's one thing we all agree on.
One of the witnesses he tried to tamper with told Mueller that manafort tried to get him to commit perjury. So there is more than one line of one text,'

never rely on trump's numbers. trump claimed manafort only worked for him for 49 days. "officially" manafort was the campaign chairman for 144 days ( manafort's own daughter claims that he continued to run the campaign even after claiming to the press that he stepped down ).
They have no real evidence of witness tampering. .

Honestly I feel bad for Manafort. If He is going to Jail... Tony Podesta (his partner) should also be going to jail (not just have to shut down).

When you look at Hillary Clinton being exonerated without an investigation... Despite Endangering National Security (confirmed in IG report), Despite Destroying evidence (blackberries&33K emails), despite mishandling classified info... and you compare that to Manafort's abuse... it makes no sense.
The IG report really destroyed all my faith in the FBI/DOJ... and a "deep state" really does exist. It should scare all americans.

That doesn't mean anything. Activist judges are all over the place who do things either not in their power or without any real evidence. This is ALL just for show. Meanwhile Mueller and his team tamper with witnesses at will.

Sadly, many Americans agree with you. Millions of Trump supporters really do believe that a deep state exists.
If somebody believes that, they're too far along to be saved, in my opinion. They'll forever believe that Trump is the greatest president to ever live, and ANYTHING that he is ever accused of and possibly even impeached for or convicted of, will simply be "fake news."
When the Special Counsel's investigation has concluded, Meuller may drop a mountain of evidence against Trump and his campaign managers. His supporters will simply claim "deep state" and "fake news."
