UPDATE: Apparently there were only 10 Eagle players that wanted to appear with Trump. An NFL regular season roster is 53.

There was not one incident of protest behavior being done by anyone on the Philadelphia team. Not once by anyone.
Trump won Pennsylvania by only 1 percent. I think he may have lost that 1 percent and more. Eagles have never won a super bowl so the fans are enormously proud. Trump made it political instead of keeping his nose out of it.
Let's hope this is the stunt by Trump, that breaks the camel's back. Pennsylvania is going to be the site of a bloodbath for republicans in the next election. With the anti-gerrymandering rearrangement of voting districts there and things like this, they will go down hard. Sometimes, winning just one small battle, will lead to victory in the war.

trumps a big baby. He would have to take a picture without the full team there and he threw a fit. It has nothing to do with the anthem. His ego got in the way.
My thoughts on the matter is that the President has better things to do anyway than play slap-a*s with a bunch of overpaid bread and circus entertainers playing a high school sport for a living. it's a joke.
I hope he tells whoever wins the NBA finals to not bother coming either.

I pretty much saw this coming. Once some of the players started saying they wouldn't be going along with the rest of the team, I knew it would end up being canceled. And if I'm honest, I would have to say that has just as much to do with our president's ego as it does his position on players kneeling during the National Anthem. I think the president was offended, perhaps rightly so, perhaps not, by these player's refusal to attend the White House visit so he decided to just call the whole thing off. Those are my thoughts on the matter.
I think the NFL enjoyed tax-free status for years, contributing nothing to the country, and now seeks to hide behind the flag. Seems like the typical faux-issue the sunshine patriot in the White House involves himself in.

Surely you realize you said something totally outrageous: that the players who kneeled weren't doing something political. Surely you knew that the question marks were a request for an explanation of your most extraordinary claim.
I'm not sure I'd call it political - although it's certainly BECOME political - thanks in large part due to the imbecile in the White House.
It was always meant to be a statement. But its recent politicization correlating with Trump's rise to power is no coincidence.

It was the Eagles players who divided by deciding that they weren't going to attend as a complete team.
So Trump decided -- either everyone shows up, or there's no visit.
