"Real American" would also exclude anyone that owes allegiance or has allegiance to a foreign nation - dual nationals, double agents, people who hold globalist views, etc and so forth.

So, he doesn't appeal to Melania?

Not sure what your point is.

Or maybe illegal aliens are people, just like you and I, who would love to be legal, but have too many obstacles in their path, too many hurdles to jump over.

Are Trump's tactics simply to appeal to the "real Americans"?

Yes. Real stupid Americans.

Anyone buying his con job at this point is either willfully ignorant or just plain ignorant.

The idea that he is looking out for Americans is just dimwitted. Trump is a globalist and always has been.

Interesting. Husband is foreign born, served 20 years in the Marine Corps. He's a Gulf War vet (you're welcome), we're members of a VFW. He receives care at the VA. He's not a "real American"?

I laugh at the 'working class' Americans think Trump is all for them and about them.

That is hilarious. Working class to him is anyone making less than 250K a year -- he has no clue.

He doesn't 'connect' -- he spouts catch phrases and pretends to understand.

He doesn't 'talk' to these people -- he holds rallies and stands on a podium yelling at them.

I get the working man frustration angle but Trump has sold folks an image that just isn't true.

Trump the billionaire that at any time in his life could have committed himself to truly helping working class in his community has never ever done anything. This man has had a life time of wealth to connect with the working class...and he has done nothing.

And this is why the right/conservatives alienate people.

Your family has done more for the USA then most. Thank you.

Here's a clue:

Wanting a better life isn't a valid reason to break our immigration laws.

Becoming an American isn't supposed to be easy.

Any orphanage, no matter how well intentioned, can only take in so many children before it has to start neglecting the ones it already has in order to take care of the new ones.

And a country has a right to decide who it lets in and how many.

No one, from any country, has a "right" to immigrate to America.

And yet unemployment, especially minority unemployment is at an all time record low........

Trump is so mean to the working class,....he actually gave them the opportunity to work.....

What a bastard.....

Oh my gosh! Not really looking for thanks, threw that in there because the post (to me) sounded so silly. You're welcome (blushing). Yes, it is alienating. And we don't get that from all right/conservatives, but when I see a post like that I feel the need to speak up.
