This whole Eagles Super Bowl visit to the White House is overblown and the problems are instigated by the President. And the Trump News Team is more than willing to push that line of thinking to the 25% of America that things that Fox News is the most trustworthy source of news.
Fox did all of the above because they realize their viewers will believe anything they tell them without question. Fox News viewers are not critical thinkers whatsoever.

It does bring up an interesting question. It's not disrespectful to kneel while you pray. Players often kneel when a player is seriously hurt and being attended to. So why do folks think it's disrespectful to kneel during the anthem?
Because kneeling signifies sorrow or abject obeisance, neither of which is appropriate during the playing of the national anthem.

Inquiring minds would like to know.
Maybe human rights and equality.

True.

Exhibit A: multi-millionaire football players showing disrespect toward a symbol of the nation which has made them wealthy and idolized, simply because they were born with thick skulls.

The players should stand for the anthem. Give America two minutes of respect.

Then they can go home and get on their knees in gratitude to the ancestors who gifted them with their freakish physical genes.

That said, the anthem at a sporting event, why? Do they play it before movies or plays? Unless its something like the Olympics I don't get it.
To me, kneeling is a respectful protest. How does that hurt anyone other than the thin orange skinned one?

That's what t signifies to you. The players have a different opinion as do many of yout fellow citizens. I don't understand why anyone thinks being forced to stand for the Anthem when you clearly don't want to is more appropriate than simply taking a knee.
