UPS delivery drivers work hard. I have no issue with them earning more.
Keep in mind that UPS has a lot of handlers working in their facilities and OTR drivers in addition to the guys/gals in the brown trucks you see in the neighborhood.
Even without unions, they'll do just fine in the end. UPS had always been a survivor, and they'll get a new deal worked out eventually. They will be just fine.
another example of why unions are bad and have overstayed their welcome.
Why would you say that. The middle class are union members. Unions are the middle men between their members and their employers. One voice is ignored....hundreds and thousands are not. Unions give workers the power to negotiate more favorable working conditions and other benefits through collective bargaining. My husband's union pays for our healthcare. We pay nothing except a $10 dollar co pay. So tell me how unions are bad.
