another example of why unions are bad and have overstayed their welcome.

Even without unions, they'll do just fine in the end. UPS had always been a survivor, and they'll get a new deal worked out eventually. They will be just fine.

I have no problem with workers organizing or striking, so long as UPS is left to fire and hire as it sees fit and without guv interference.

Why, you think that they shouldn't try for better wages and benefits?

Without either strong worker laws or a high rate of union membership, American workers are treated like sh.t compared to other developed countries.

I don't understand why Americans not only accept corporations exploiting them, but actually fight for it.

The people at the top are laughing at them.

The attack on labor unions is one of the most successful propaganda coups since Nazi Germany...…..

Why would you say that. The middle class are union members. Unions are the middle men between their members and their employers. One voice is ignored....hundreds and thousands are not. Unions give workers the power to negotiate more favorable working conditions and other benefits through collective bargaining. My husband's union pays for our healthcare. We pay nothing except a $10 dollar co pay. So tell me how unions are bad.
