Obama let out more violent drug offenders with longer criminal histories... some of which got back into trouble and went back to jail. Also pardoned Lopez mentioned above.
Not sure why he skipped over a one time non-violent offender...
Ford pardoned Nixon and the investigation shut down. Never did find out whether Nixon was only involved in the cover up or was behind the burglary itself. Plenty of suspicion that Ford accepted the VP slot in exchange for promising to pardon Nixon.
If you recall it was to help the nation heal. After Vietnam and Watergate it was best to let Nixon resign and go into retirement. The nation was a mess and needed to move on.
If we went after every Ex President for wrongs most of them would be in Prison, Obama included.
If he doesn't pardon her - he would be called a racist.
