Sounds pretty on-target. Trump is pretty much a cartoon, or a caricature.

He called Mr. Trump a “cartoon” figure who cared more about his crowd sizes than any particular policy.
“I don’t know,” he told aides. “Maybe this is what people want. I’ve got the economy set up well for him. No facts. No consequences. They can just have a cartoon.”
That's interesting that Obama would ask such a question.
It's because he was wrong, along with his cohorts. Many gullible people ended up regretting their decisions to vote for him by his second term. It's a hard lesson learned for many Americans.
That's how elections work. I can accept that. Can you?
