I am not denying that for thousands of years men have oppressed women. And I am not trying to start some men vs. women thing. What I am curious about is, as women, how do you feel men today should feel when thinking about female oppression?

They should support not doing it anymore. That's all.
Haven't met any man in the US or seen any evidence that shows that men are actively trying to oppress women in the US.
What does that even mean anyway? Women can do whatever they want in the US. There is nothing that they can't or are restrict against doing. If anything, I see women trying to oppress women as a problem, not men trying to oppress women.
It's an outdated idea, no relevance to US society. Tossed around to get people to hate on men.
"Men are the oppressors of womyn." This is the theme song of "womyn's liberation," now called feminism to distance itself from its core Marxist ideology.
Note: I'm spelling women as "womyn." The word "women" implies a subordination to men and is a definite no-no to unrepentant womyn's libbers.
If you had stopped 1000 women on the streets across the country five years ago and asked if they were oppressed and if men should feel guilty for toxic masculinity, 998 of these women would have laughed in your face. The other two would be walking to the subway on the way to their womens studies course.
We're not victims. We're not survivors. We're not "women hear us roar". And I hate that liberals have made it a "thing" in order to slam one more wedge between people. Just one more damn talking point to get votes.
People living today are not responsible for historical events or societal beliefs/behaviors/norms.
Our world is and has always been in a never ending state of change.
I think people should be aware of and acknowledge the past including the oppression of women and other groups and learn from it but to dwell on it or feel in anyway responsible or apologetic, no.
What is it with all these massive guilt trips by some people? Wringing their hand on a huge apology tour.
