Let White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow explain it to you. He explains this problem has been around for decades and no one did anything. He clears up a lot of misconceptions and plain bad reporting.

If it means putting this country back right where young people can again get a good job I'm all for it.

Buying less stuff does the exact opposite of people getting jobs. Economic slowdowns and layoffs occur when lots of people stop buying stuff.

Map of state-by-state impact is here: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DfBsjgHVMAEjnsZ.png:large

"16 jobs lost for every one gained"
There were 152,848,000 Americans working in January, and now there are 156,009,000 Americans working as of May.

That's an increase of 3,161,000 jobs, or an average of 632,200 per month.

So, the threat of tariffs has had no impact.

I guess we'll see if those "economists" (snicker) are basing their views on economics or politics.

Change is never painless. What I'm saying is if a damn TV goes up to 5 grand and a computer jumps as high I have no problem having neither. I would rather America have some dignity and not just give everything away.

People have too much crap as it is. The landfills are filling up. We need to start doing with less. Make things to last again.

It’s a view of international trade as imperialism that simply isn’t correct.

What's important is what is happening at home. Job growth has been steady for almost 8 years now. We are at the lowest unemployment in years.

Adding 500 jobs in one industry to perhaps cost thousands across the nation is just not worth it.
Good luck with that discussion. All people here think is trade deficits BAD.

So this is so you can feel dignified.

Man -- i'd start with not electing a man who talks bout grabbing women by their private parts if I was looking for dignity.

(you walked into that one and you are big enough to take it )
