Repeal the Hollywood tax cuts!

For the past few years, there has been a drumbeat in favor of increased taxes from Democrats of all stripes. Make the rich pay their "fair share." Get rid of "loopholes." Make the fat cats "chip in a little more." Then Democrats hold up budgets and bills in an effort to extract some tax increases from Republicans.

More suggestions at the link. I think these are excellent proposals.

I think if you want to put a 20% tax on gross theater profits the same should apply to the gross profits of every NFL, NBA, MLB game, all NCAA football/basketball games, as well as every NASCAR race as well as TV revenues from them all. Sounds 'fair', eh? Or, is this just some whiny proposal by some sniveling little twit to punish those he/she doesn't like?

I'm sure he would concur, as do I. The sports leagues get plenty of tax breaks they shouldn't have.

What do you think of his proposals to get more tax money from the rich?
