Bill's job is to get publicity for his show. I chuckle at sports radio. A talking head takes a position he knows will make the fans mad "we need to trade so and so" and boy do they call in.
Unfortunately Maher may get his wish. Short term the market looks good but as trump's trade policies ignite countermeasures by other countries there will be a turndown in our economy.
Not how it works. if Trump is wrong the about the actual trade relationship perhaps but no one terminates a relationship when they only get a little less supernumerary profits.
Nothing new. I've had liberals tell me they'd be happy to see retirees' life savings wiped out in a recession, and have them live hand-to-mouth on SS payments, if it meant people turned out to vote against Trump in 2020.
Note: These liberals never say they'd be willing to have their OWN life savings wiped out. Like always, they're generous with OPM (Other People's Money).
Yeah, and I've heard countless Trumpers mouthing off about how they are fine with everything from unaffordable healthcare to huge wars if it means the various minorities they hate suffer worse than they do in the fallout.
Both sides have crazies, but only one side - that of the far-right - is making the rules these days. So, I suggest getting those clowns under control before worrying about what powerless "liberals" are doing.
So what does that make the Republican politicians/ or Limbaugh who publically stated that they wanted Obama to "fail".
Good question. Since this is a right-wing forum with a very specific narrative, the answer probably is "patriots who resisted that Muslim from Kenya" or some drek.
It is the far-right who has the market cornered on wanting to burn down the nation for various idiotic reasons to help their party, not the left. The righties around here just keep denying that reality.
Most democrats have always been one thing... no matter how much they spin, no matter how much they lie, its about helping themselves and never about helping others.... California and New York trying to make the wealthy pay LESS in taxes with the SALT tax reforms... why? Amazon and Starbucks gets upset when Seattle wants them to pay more to help the homeless... why? If they believed so much in liberal ideals, they wouldn't have a problem but they don't... they spew liberal hate while looking after their own interests... the liberal media would have you believe otherwise but its pure BS the media flings out...

Bull crud. Besides, the vast majority of red states are net TAKERS from the Federal government and are STILL either riddled with poverty or suffering population loss. So, what does that make your right-wing heroes other than hypocrites and failures?

More like baby boomers but yes...
I was having a conversation yesterday with a millennial intern. She went to grad school in the Obama years because she couldn't get a job. Now, before she has even finished grad school she is getting recruited for jobs.
She goes... *maybe we were wrong about Obama*.
I smiled.
