“Several high-profile aides, including John F. Kelly…are said to be thinking about how much longer they can stay,” a New York Times report on Sunday noted. “Last week, Mr. Kelly told visiting senators that the White House was ‘a miserable place to work,’ according to a person with direct knowledge of the comment.”
The report goes on to say, based on inside sources, that Kelly is “beaten down.”
No doubt! It looks miserable and like a chaotic mess from the outside. Gotta be massively worse inside.
That's what you get when you elect a rank amateur with a black hole for a soul and gigantic ego to try to run the show. An amateur at government, but a pro at sociopathy and narcissism which makes for misery for all he impacts but myopic Trumpers.
Trump is a cajoling vampire as he sucks what he needs out of people and then chews them up and spits them out. So much turnover within and he's becoming a pariah in the world arena among our long time sensible allies. The people he cycles through his administration are either obsequious sycophants, morally bankrupt abusers of their power or, if they have a shred of human decency, they are drained and burned out.
Poor anti-Trumpers.... Maybe one day you'll happy, not...
And how about those working WITH Trump like John Kelly, et. al.? Do they have any cred with you? Or do you know Trump better than they do? And not just in your heart and soul.
Is all right in your evil world with a morally bankrupt president who can't get along with anyone with good sense not sucking up? Who caters to the minority and lowest common denominator? Oops, treading on toes.

Cred about what other than the BS that are peddling... The only ones buying your crap are idiots... TDS

So the ones (on the inside) who ACTUALLY know, don't know in your "I know better" (even though you don't) world. Gotcha.

It's this like the fourth time they've pushed this stuff?
The thing is, truth like the misery in the White House, tends to hang around longer than the latest Trump lie of the moment. Ask John Kelly or one of those insiders.

True. However, Trump thinks he's the godfather and a one man show who just uses others at will. That and his morally bankrupt values multiply the stress many, many time that of a WH where a president and his staff are a real team. A good leader (read president) knows how to recruit good people, cultivate and work with them as a team and appreciate their good ability and integrity to retain them. Trump's inability to get and keep good people and his constant revolving door of often-corrupt staff is shameful but reflective of who and how he is. Anyone who has ever worked with an a--hole with qualities like Trump AND with a good leader who cultivates quality in his people and work, knows what a huge, huge difference that can be. You want to work with a good leader. You just want to avoid the Trump type leader until he's gone. And you know he will be. They don't last. They go somewhere else. It won't be soon enough for Trump in the eyes of most.
Trump will cut off his nose to spite his face and then blame everybody else. Including the news media for covering it.

Kelly must be looking forward to the day, whenever it is, to get the heck away from Trump...
I feel no pity for John Kelly. He chose to support Trump and Trump's ideas and that will forever taint his reputation whether he stays or goes. I'm sure the environment there is probably very Lord of the Flies.
