Still no explanation why Trump is trying so desperately to end it in spite of the fact that virtually everyone has acknowledged there was Russian meddling.
If that is indeed the case, then why has Trump called the Russia investigation a "witch hunt" 27 times?
Because it is. The collusion with the Russians was with Hillary/DNC, not Trump. When the collusion meme failed they went onto obstruction about firing Comey for the Flynn issue. Now Comey has been shown to be insubordinate and lie, McCabe lied and possibly ordered documentation changed, so next they are moving onto something else. The DOJ said they would handover docs to congress showing what Muellers scope of investigation was for - but they just refused to turn them over -- again. Why? Add to this the FBI/DOJ/NSA/Obama/MSM effort to impede Trump with an "insurance policy". Throw into the mix all of Hillary's misdeeds and maybe you can get a better idea of the game at hand.
Trump supporters are already 100% certain of Trump's innocence.
The worst Tump might have done is to have used Russian sources to somehow dig dirt on Hillary. This is politics and is not illegal. What were Obama teams doing in Israel trying to unseat Netanyahu? Meuller report will be little accomplish little more than the Starr report.
Trump supporters could care less about his innocence or guilt. Even if he was found guilty, it wouldn't change their support or how they feel about him at all.
Yes because they don't care as long as Trump continues to spite the people they hate.
Still no explanation why Trump is trying so desperately to end it in spite of the fact that virtually everyone has acknowledged there was Russian meddling.
Well, don't be meddled. It's like buying a product and then complain that the company "meddled" in your decision making. Russia could have bought ads on Super Bowl and it wouldn't bother me.
This is common sense to most logical people, but I imagine Trump voters will disagree:
If Donald Trump truly has done nothing wrong and has nothing to hide, then the Russia investigation will prove his innocence and he will be exonerated. With that being said, why does Trump want it to end so badly???
If that is indeed the case, then why has Trump called the Russia investigation a "witch hunt" 27 times? Why has he said that everyone involved is biased and a democrat? (which is false, by the way). f
Trump himself seems awfully biased, as if he's bothered or worried about what Mueller is doing. Trump is trying to discredit the investigation. Why?
Over a year and almost 2 million spent and no evidence Trump did anything, don't you think that if there was real evidence then it would have already come out by the liberal news media, how long should the govt waste money chasing a fake tale started by Hillary and her team when the liberal news is chasing the same information and they will find it if it is to be found.
Oh gee, another thread that attempts to discredit President Trump. What a surprise.
There are multiple sides to this story. I repeat, LWLTs are still so bitter and angry that the anointed one lost an election that was rigged in her favor they are blind to the most obvious of truths. This is a very large group, and well represented on C-D.
On the other side, there is a small group of folks who will support President Trump even if he does shoot Mueller on Pennsylvania Ave. This is a very small group, but vocal.
In the middle, folks like me smell a witch hunt but are quite willing to let it run its course, if for no other reason to pi$$ off the LWLTs when it ends with nothing of consequence.
And to address the thread title, it has been addressed about a zillion times, but who's counting.....
They'll never actually address the facts because it looks so bad. So they'll offer up some silly hollow whine about "fairness." Their idea of fairness, of course, is letting Trump and everyone around him off the hook by conducting a sham investigation that turns up nothing because it didn't bother to look. Any sort of investigation that actually investigates will be deemed a witch hunt.
But it is possible that Trump's relentless attempts to derail and delegitimize the investigation don't mean he's personally guilty. Even if he wasn't personally involved (hard to believe at this point, admittedly), he's well aware that he surrounded himself with shady criminals who are guilty. Every time one of his loyal sycophants gets indicted, it makes Trump look bad.
Agree with all of this, but the bolded especially. They can't address it, because there's no logical answer.
Notice how none of the Trumpers in here directly answered the question, because they can't. They pivot to either "it is a witch hunt."
Or look at HappyRider's Post "NeutralParty? Your cover is thinner than CNN." They didn't address the OP at all, instead they just attacked me personally. Probably because they can't address the question posed in the OP. Very typical behavior for Trump supporters.
