By action, you mean hurling insults, not getting along with other world leaders. Wouldn't be so funny if the G6 decided to close the Mercedes, BMW, Toyota, Nissan, and Mercedes plants in America and lay everyone off.
Well, Rump sure knew what to say to "make a deal" pre-election, didn't he? He got what he wanted and has no need to follow up on empty promises made to supporters.

And GM, Ford, and Chrysler did the same thing in Europe and China. Your point being what? Nothing, you have no point. Just spouting off with no substance. Just meaningless words backed by hate and stupidity.

GM, Ford, and Chrysler executives likely are not in agreement with Trump (they are advocates for free trade) and not likely to close plants there. Perhaps, the G6 LEADERS will show trump how to be a real LEADER..
Americans do realise that in terns of China and other emerging economies these jobs are very low paid, long hour sweatshop type jobs that most western millennials wouldn't entertain doing.
How else do you think you get your cheap clothes and have stores filled up with cheap goods.
Of course there have been scandals, with high suicide rates at certain Chinese factories, people jumping off the roof and virtual slave labour conditions.
Most of these jobs would be down to the Mexicans to carry out and illegals if they were brought back to the US, however Trump is clamping down on that.
Do you really want to be doing a 12 hour shift on a sewing machine for a pittance or working in some other similar type of environment.
Trump's tariffs will just make goods more expensive in US shops, as in terms of a lot of the mass produced work it's still going to be carried out in places such as China, India and other such countries.

Fortunately, my $40-per-paycheck tax relief will cover the high costs.
I thought I'd get to use it to go on vacation, buy a few more coffees, or send to my retirement, but no, it'll just pay for the tariffs.
Hmm. I rather thought that President Obama did put American workers first, by bailing out the American automakers (save for Ford, and with Bush initially starting the process), which saved hundreds of thousands of jobs. Indeed, the following article cites saving 1.5 millions of jobs:
However, you just keep on claiming that because Obama did not (according to that one web site) speak these words (although I bet he did, in some form, during his first State of the Union address), that he did not care about American workers, if it makes you feel better.

They already have shown our presidents how to be real trade leaders by putting their own interests ahead of America's in trade negotiations. Previous presidents have not learned from that example but Trump has.
