Trump's devotion to Russia is never-ending. Apparently over dinner, he questioned why G-7 leaders took Ukraine's side. This was followed by Trump demanding Russia be re-admitted into the alliance.

The sources spoke on the condition of anonymity as they were not authorised to speak on the matter.

Oh NO ...... say it isn't so!! Buzzfeed comes up with another Anti-Trump Hit piece based on anonymous sources.

Trump's own words are on video - Russia was pitched out of the G-8 because of his invasion and take-over of Ukraine - Trump points out that Obama & the rest of them stood by and did nothing. They all collectively "condemned" Russia, kicked them out of the G-8 and got all puffed up about how that was "helping Ukraine". They wouldn't even send arms or equipment to Ukraine to help them defend themselves -- despite the Security Agreements they had with Ukraine.

"This used to be the G8, not the G7," Trump said. "Something happened a while ago where Russia is no longer in."
Trump also blamed former president Barack Obama for what happened in Ukraine. "Obama can say all he wants, but he allowed Russia to take Crimea," Trump said.

CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS - all were outraged that President Trump would say publicly that the G-7, including Obama - stood by a did nothing to actually help Ukraine.

Susan Rice: 'Disgraceful' for Trump to blame Obama for Russia's annexation of Crimea |Washington Examiner - June 10, 2018

President Trump :
"You'll have to ask Obama, because he was the one that let Crimea get away," Trump said Saturday in Canada during the G-7 summit. "He allowed Russia to take Crimea. I may have had a much different attitude."

Susan Rice
"For the president of the United States to suggest all is forgotten, that that doesn’t matter, that we are fine with one country annexing another country’s sovereign territory and we should just welcome them with open arms into a community of democracies is outrageous," she said.

We shouldn't be "fine" with one country annexing another - Rice is correct about that.
She misses the point and the boat when she (and the Leftists) choose to ignore that what was NOT Fine, was to stand by and not come to the aid of Ukraine -- particularly since we had Security Agreements to do so.

LOL. You just know Trump didn't come up with that himself. There is no way this reality TV star sat around and contemplated the situation between Crimea and Russia in his spare time.

Somebody told him to say that. I wonder who....

.

Probably the same guy that suggested Russia return to the Global Alliance.

I'm beginning to wonder if they all got a free lobotomy with their vote.

So suddenly a drunken Khrushchev with roots in Ukraine is a preeminent statesmen?

Crimea is not Ukrainian territory by any legitimate metric.

My reaction would be that Obama finally was able to grasp geography, almost making up for "all 57 states".

Skeptical of this article BUT most definitely Trump's comments of wanting Russia back in the G7 suggests he does not see the invasion of Crimea as that big of a deal.

Do conservatives/Republicans support Trump's efforts to get Russia back in?
