The author is Canadian, but she may well have been envisioning a dystopian political future for the USA when she wrote the book.

So Sarah Huckabee, Mike Huckabee and Sessions all believe there is biblical justification for ripping small children out of the arms of mothers at the border?

Clearly they all belong to the Church of MEAN JESUS.

Sessions is just a horrible human being. Using the bible to defend the indefensible is at the bottom of low.

Ummm, quote from the referenced article:

“"I have considered the thoughts of church leaders over that time. And I am sympathetic to them. But I am a law officer. A law officer for a nation-state. A secular nation-state. Not a theocracy. It's not a church. If we have laws -- and I believe we have reasonable immigration laws -- they should be enforced," Sessions said. “

Then WTFlowers is he referencing ...a bible?

Pretty sure Jesus never said arrest parents and separate them from their kids when all they want is to do better for their family. After Jesus fed the 5000, he sure as hell didn't put any of them in jail

Such as? God of nature is no reference to the Christian God whatsoever. In God we trust was put there not by a founding father nor in the pledge of allegiance.

So I ask again.

How about the US policy of unending wars, drone strikes and bombings, are those based on biblical teachings as well? So much hypocrisy from christians, and I'd go so far to say that being a christian is incompatible with govt employment (most certainly military "service")

U.S. policy is based on the fact that Jeff Sessions is heavily invested in private prison stocks. Every inmate he sends into detention lines his pocket.

Trump may be mad at him because he won't give him a kickback.

The man so hugely lacks compassion that it's just evil.

From Sessions bible: "Orderly and lawful processes are good in themselves and protect the weak and lawful." No, Sessions, you are not protecting the weak by swiping little children, little babies, who may be nursing, from their mothers.
