Out of town? Turn this into a mini vacation. Lots of things to do in tourist oriented SoCal. My favorite is the Lake Shrine, a mini Garden of Eden on Sunset Blvd, 1/4 mile off Pacific Coast Highway.
I like this idea. I would really like to go to to the one you just posted. Unfortunately my current budget won't allow it, but maybe some others, or even me will post some more a bit closer to the Orange County area. I'll try to look around a little myself.

They should give senior discounts like they do at museums. I'm surprised they only gave discounts to Pepperdine students and not all students. Plenty of young conservatives nowadays.
I wish I could go to Oxford to see a live debate. Loved the city when I visited many years ago and have dated a few Oxford (and Cambridge) graduates. Nothing sexier than an intelligent man with an 'Oxbridge' accent.
