Satisfaction With U.S. Direction Reaches 12-Year High

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Thirty-eight percent of Americans are satisfied with the way things are going in the United States today, similar to last month's 37% satisfaction rate but marking the numerical high since a 39% reading in September 2005.

I'm pessimistic. If Trump succeeds in closing off the border, my business, which relies heavily on undocumented, cheap labor will suffer greatly. Fighting it tooth and nail, mailing Chuck and Nancy checks.

8 U.S. Code § 1324a - Unlawful employment of aliens
It is unlawful for a person or other entity—
(A) to hire, or to recruit or refer for a fee, for employment in the United States an alien knowing the alien is an unauthorized alien (as defined in subsection (h)(3)) with respect to such employment
