If an American citizen breaks the law and is funneled into the justice system, he is separated from his family and children. This American citizen is not allowed to keep his family with him in a detention center.
Once again, our media want illegal aliens to enjoy special rights and privileges American citizens do not enjoy.
Illegal aliens are normally desperate to come to the U.S. But they are even more desperate when the U.S. economy is doing well. That is why they are trying to come in droves right now.
They use their children as their ticket to America. Or if they don't have children, they have anchor babies so that they don't get deported once they're here. For them, it is the perfect plan.

This is quite correct.
The 'optics' as they say, are bad. The Trump 'believers' don't need these aggressive demonstrations ruthlessness to believe in Trump, they are stalwarts. It is the fence sitters and the people in the margins who determine the results of many electoral contests. This could wind up costing the Republicans a few more percentage points in some close races, and they are beginning to realize it.
