Our Constitution does not dictate an economic system we`re bound to. Socialism, not Communism will win and we`re halfway there. This kid served in Afghanistan and earned medals, badges and an appointment to West Point. He does have a right to speak does he not?

I would say that you`re badly misinformed about the Vietnamese who sent us packing. When you invade a country where you`re not wanted or needed you`ll be leaving. It may be 6 months, a year or ten years but you`ll be leaving. They expelled the Chinese twice and the second time it took them hundreds of years.
I think that it is a good thing that the Army got rid of him.
Did/does he have the right to speak up? Of course he did BUT he was accepting more than $100k a year from the Army in going to West Point and he knew up-front their goals. Don't like those goals, then leave, afterwards say whatever you wish. But he was a sleeze, tried to play games, etc while still taking their money and getting possibly the best education offered in this country. Total trash.
Dishonorable discharge is not enough IMO. My first thought was for the Army to send him a bill. But a better choice might be to just freeze/delete his transcript. No confirmation to anyone that he ever attended West Point. No using them as a reference or as a prerequisite to later attend graduate school or law school. In short, he gets nothing for the past 4 years.
