They are trying to finance the corporate hand-out by stealing from our retirement. I maxed out a long time ago, and keep paying into it, and now they are saying I should not even receive what I was promised to receive.

What I find charming is the news reports asserting that President Trump will not stand for any such cuts, as per his campaign promise.

So, we are all hillbillies and backwards cause we supported the better of the 2 evils huh? So, because a blog and a msn blog to boot says something we are all supposed to believe it? I think maybe some of you need to think about who is backwards. Anyone with any knowledge of how things work knows that seniors are not going to have their benefits cut one bit. There does need to be changes in medicare and SS. this is no secret. If nothing else the min age needs to be raised. Never were either plan designed so we would receive them for 20 or 30 years. When SS was introduced the average life expectancy was less than 70 years. Now, how many people do we all know that are, not only alive but still active at closer to 90?

Oh and BTW, I am anything but a backwards hillbilly and I happen to live in Ar. Of course that happened long after my husband worked for one of our best modern Presidents among other things and after I had a successful career and after we were smart enough to get out of Ca.
