It's funny how fast people who spend almost all their effort insulting each other over the people who make up "the state" will band together the instant someone like me makes any sort of critical commentary on the nature of the state or the state itself.

Two rabid dogs ready to kill each other, one wearing the "D" collar, the other sporting the "R"....both will drop that fight in a heartbeat if a libertarian rings the "the state sucks" bell. They'll tear that bell ringer to pieces, and then get back to their barking and growling at each other.

It's so freaking Pavlovian, how all that indoctrination from the media-political complex conditions y'allz brains.

The only ones who sound indoctrinated are the anarchists who post on here. We have real world examples of what happens when a state is abolished or very weak and it isn't some paradise quite the opposite in fact. You could make a good case for a stateless or a very weak state in a preindustrial society like hunter gatherers in the amazon or in a frontier setting, but modern America or anywhere for that matter its just a dream.

Godwin's law (or Godwin's rule of Hitler analogies)[1][2] is an internet adage asserting that "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Hitler approaches 1";[2][3] that is, if an online discussion (regardless of topic or scope) goes on long enough, sooner or later someone will compare someone or something to Adolf Hitler or his deeds. Promulgated by the American attorney and author Mike Godwin in 1990,[2] Godwin's law originally referred specifically to Usenet newsgroup discussions.[4] It is now applied to any threaded online discussion, such as Internet forums, chat rooms, and comment threads, as well as to speeches, articles, and other rhetoric[5][6] where reductio ad Hitlerum occurs.

The Nazi movement didn't start with the concentration camps. It started with suspicion and accusations. "The press is lying." "You don't have jobs because the Jews are taking them all." "They aren't really people." Most Germans were against this at first, but then many came around. There were short, snappy slogans: "The Jews Are Our Misfortune." "One Country, One People, One Leader." "Blood and Soil."

Compare this to now. "The Mexicans are rapists and murderers and drug dealers." They are taking all of your jobs." "Fake News!" "Lock her up!" "Make America Great Again!" "Keep America Great!"

Hitler appealed to those who felt downtrodden and taken advantage of. Why should you, an Aryan man, be struggling? It is the fault of the Jews and the Romas and the non-Aryans. You can and should take charge!

Trump appeals to those who feel downtrodden and taken advantage of. "Why should you, a hardworking white man, be struggling? It's because the Blacks are taking all of the welfare and the Hispanics are taking all of your jobs. You can and should take charge!"

People gradually accepted Hitler's power and what was happening. They were polite. They turned and minded their own business when it was the socialists and the Jews who were taken and abused. After all, they were not in any danger, being neither a Socialist nor a Jew. If those Socialists would just see the truth and those Jews would just stop taking jobs and money, they wouldn't be in this predicament.

Trump's power and discrimination is also being accepted. If that black guy didn't run, he wouldn't have been executed. If those Central Americans seeking asylum just stayed home, they would not have had their little children taken away. If the illegal Mexican rapists on welfare would stop taking our jobs (not quite sure how that works... what do these people do for a living that some hypothetical illegal Mexican rapists are taking their jobs??), they wouldn't need to worry about being deported. Hardworking white guys don't have to worry! Their children will be safe in their beds.

Hitler said that tolerance equals weakness. Tolerate the Jews and you are weak.

Trump says tolerance equals weakness. Cry fake tears over dead children? You're a snowflake.

I recommend that all people over the age of 12 read The Wave by Todd Strausser. It is an easy-to-read novel based on true events that explores how these types of behaviors take hold when you wouldn't expect them to. It takes place in a high school and is based on an experiment done in a California high school... a history teacher wanted to show the teens how Hitler took power and what happened among these very typical and normal high schoolers was disturbing and the experiment had to be canceled. It's quite eye-opening; I had both of my kids read it during their middle school years.
Rep and a bump.

Hitler didn't have Fox News.
The reporter that said democrats care more about illegal criminals then kids in Idaho or Texas...
Kids in Idaho and Texas aren't being kidnapped.

Its here.
Enter Trump.
Those standing up to his tyranny are namecalled and ridiculed and slandered.
He takes his cues from Putin.
The worst is not here yet.
Tyrants don't go quietly.
We re in a heap of a mess.
We need help from our former allies.

Because if you don't agree with liberals then you're just a racist bigot who wants fascism.

Therefore liberals have now insulted the world's greatest country by referring to it as Nazi Germany, no doubt an insult to those who actually survived Nazi Germany.

Where has that happened? What would you do with all the unaccompanied kids coming to the border? Let them be sex trafficked?

They became unaccompanied on Trumps orders.
I would like to know what Russian prostitute / porn star John, Mr Trump has in mind for these kids.

Why did he take the children?
