it be cheaper to build the wall than all the benefit that illegal workers get, just the children that being seperated is $3000 a month per person. every other country can have immigration walls even mexico but not united states
There was a $25 billion deal for immigration reform and DACA on the table. He didn't take it. There was $1.3 billion appropriated last year that he hasn't taken advantage of. He was offered $2.5 billion this year that he initially agreed upon until he didn't. So you might want to write a letter to Trump and ask him.

Not with profit margins so high they allow the purchase/construction of things like single use aircraft, submarines, and tunnels to move those drugs.
They make tunnels, they are smuggled in through people called "coyotes", bribing the UPS/FedEx/DHL driver, they come in legally then overstay work visa or never return home, hide out on boats, planes, Rv's anything.

Many waltz across the border. The wall won't stop all of it, but it would be a tremendous help. The fact that burglars can find their way into homes and businesses despite locks and alarms doesn't negate the need for locks and alarms.

The reason for the Wall is that the pendulum always swings. One of the very reasons for the drop in net migration is the policy of the current administration. When the next Democrat is elected President, it will be much harder for him/her to "ring the dinner bell" for illegals (like Obama did with DACA) if there is a physical barrier in place. Secondly, the Wall will hopefully also slow down the flow of illegal drugs and human trafficking coming up through Mexico.

The idiots never get that. No crimes or trespassing can be stopped entirely but the point of security measures is to stop as much of it as you can. Sometimes I think I'm talking to 4 years old here.
Trump's wall would serve no other purpose than to glorify him.
It would make much more sense for the US to stop destabilizing governments and using American subsidized corps to ruin other countries.
It's not Trump's wall it's congress' wall that they passed back in 2006. Did they pass that bill to glorify themselves? I've posted several links proving that the good walls work and the Border Patrol and Homeland Security say they are effective and needed. You know better than the facts and them???
