Not from the Iron Range or Duluth. I am betting that most of these people are from places like the 6th district, which sent Michelle Bachmann to Washington. There has been a hard core right wing in parts of central and southern MN forever, they just never had a focus point for their irrationality til now. Granted as union membership and jobs have declined on The Range over the past decades, is is not the easy win for Dems it used to be. But Duluth is the 600 pound gorilla in NE MN and it is blue.

... crowd chants "CNN Sucks"

It's not his place to takes sides in business. He is supposed to be the president of all Americans and to promote all American business. He should have corrected them immediately.

Ask Obama. Oh, wait, he couldn't fill a small NY nightclub.
One thing I have learned recently is that Mr Obama was genuinely loved and respected.

I know this does not fit in with the 'narrative' (I heard a claim to the contrary by screaming pundits and grumbling old men in the local diners all of the time he was in office), but he was.

Trump will not be remembered so fondly, he has chit on his shoelaces and won't be able to get it off.

Ok, first of all, one would have to have a sense of integrity and ethics to do that--we know Trump is deficient in that area. He has a cult following. It is a cult of personality, therefore anything he says or does is believed and swallowed whole (or in the case of congress, pretend to believe him). The bobbleheads at the rallies are still screaming about Hillary. Do you think they care what is going on with this presidency in reality? It's just like going to a concert for them--"here we are now--entertain us."

His pathetic sense of insecurity is always on display--he needs to tell people he is wonderful, rich, smart, genius, yadayada, prattle prattle. He's always been like that --- name dropper, bragging, etc.--he is obviously attempting to overcome a sense of inferiority.

Most see it for what it is--massive insecurity--he's probably the most psychologically insecure person who has ever been president. People who are actually smart don't feel the need to tell everyone. People who are wealthy don't need to tell people unless they feel it boosts others opinions or makes them envious. People who are generous don't need to tell people. Thank god they channels are not carrying his rallies live. We can actually ignore him for a few hours.

He needs a periodic ego boost from the cheering and chanting crowd. He's so insecure that he needs this reassurance on a regular basis.

He had a man bun. They actually showed the scrawny guy on camera as he was escorted out.

CNN does suck because of their obvious bias in reporting. Any "news" agency with an obvious bias sucks which includes Fox on occasion. If you are watching anything that is not neutral in reporting then you are searching for confirmation bias. I'll stick with Chris Wallace, Brett Baier, and Harris Faulkner.
