Would make sense. O good portion of the audience that makes up his base probably reads that rag and believe its stories.

The National Enquirer is the new right-wing gospel. As I have said before, right-wingers, especially Trumplicans, love their celebrities and can't get enough of their gossip. They will elect them in a heartbeat.

At any rate, the National Enquirer fits in perfectly with Trumplican philosophy: brain dead, vacuous, slanderous, cruel and fake.

Watched low rated @Morning_Joe for first time in long time. FAKE NEWS. He called me to stop a National Enquirer article. I said no! Bad show

I forgot about this Trump tweet. He basically admits that he has editorial control of the Enquirer.

Well in this case it could be a campaign violation.

No, he wants a free press to re-emerge from its morphing into the format of a propaganda machine.

Mainstream media is a pure propaganda machine. No longer provide perspective on issues. Basically worthless as the people's watchdog.

The nature of this thread would belie that claim.

He's fed stories to the media in his desperate need for attention for decades. This shouldn't be surprising. He's the biggest leaker in he whitehouse.
