Trump lost the popular vote by 3 million votes. He has no mandate.

President Trump received a MANDATE from Americans to build the Mexican Border Wall the day he was elected President!
He received nothing. He promised that Mexico was going to pay for the wall, and it turned out to be a lie.

Yep, Hillary won the popular vote. How's that working out for her?

She isn't the problem--as you said, she won the popular vote but lost because of the electoral college design
Going back to HRC over and over again just proves Trump is the problem

The vast majority of Americans are against illegal immigration from Mexico. However, many people are confused about how to solve the issue. With a little persuasion, people can be convinced that the Wall is necessary to protect America’s people, its laws against illegal entry and its values. Plus, we need to work with Mexico to help reduce the flow of illegal immigration across that country as well.

We shouldn’t have to be put in a position where we have to detain thousands of illegal immigrants coming into the United States in the first place.
trump screwed the pooch on cooperation with Mexico from day 1 of his campaign and his insults continue. MX had been cooperating at their southern border, keeping Central Americans out....but after trump's vile comments, why should MX continue to cooperate?? trump does not understand how to be diplomatic, how to be neighborly. Paybacks are hell!

So, I'm wondering why all these people wouldn't be for the Wall which would reduce the flow of illegal immigration from Mexico to a trickle?
Because it won't in reality.

The only real way to stem the tide is to address the reasons the people are fleeing their countries.

Personally, id be much more in favor of our military going cartel hunting than being in the Middle East.

Ask Russia, like Trump did when he was campaigning. Oh wait, he’s still campaigning.

Exactly, the worst candidate in history beat the second worst candidate yet people like the OP claim that this election was about building a wall.
