Make it so: from this day forward, we become a theocracy based on free market fundamentalism: any activity that delivers goods or services to citizens should & must be privatized! & get your catechism straight here; 1st commandment is to have profit as the only incentive, 2nd commandment is to charge as much money as possible for providing as few goods & services as possible.

That should do it with just these 2 ^ but who knows?

These 2 alone will likely be enough to clear up the problems you've cited with the nation's elderly & disabled & there will be no more wars to boot!

& for Pete's sake, we need to favor those with the most capital much more. Heretofore we've been clearly slacking off.
Commandment 3: Chi must attend a "Candles in the Dark" seminar

Democrats favor more big government than establishment Republicans, but don't fall for the lie that Republicans are for smaller government. Yes, your more conservative and libertarian Republicans are for smaller government. But establishment RINOs like Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell favor big government. Trump wants to spend less on some domestic departments, but he's fine with continuing to feed the military industrial complex. The bottom line is, Democrats support the welfare-warfare state and some Republicans pretend to be for smaller government since they don't like the welfare state, but they are for the warfare state.

Right. Somehow, if someone has an opinion about pregnancy and abortion, they are "telling women what they can do with their bodies".

All kinda stupid. Is telling people not to have sex in public also "telling women what they can do with their bodies"?

At any rate, Democratic women always want you and me to pay for the result of "what they have done with their bodies". Either pay for my abortion or pay for my child.

Our resident Dems are typing furiously in an attempt to stop the shrinkage and keep expanding the number and budget of bureaucracies. There are never enough bureaucracies for a Democrat.

No matter what is done it is always, "Children will die! Money is being wasted on military! Rich people run everything!"
Trump is president, but cannot abolish an agency permanently without congress. And the problem with congress is there are too many Democrats all marching lock-step. Republicans can't get 60 votes.
But he is allowed to reorganize and that's what he is doing. Maybe there will be a Red Wave in November and enough Republicans will be voted in so that the Democrats won't matter.
One can hope.

Uh, how long will it take to pay down the 25-30 Trillion dollar debt which will be the case after the Trump Budgets? Remember, interest rates are shooting up.....so the "small" government is going to be paying at least 30% of all money collected from income taxes just for interest.....

What a joke! Small Government Conservatives that love tax cuts from debt and deficit.

Get back to me when the Budget is Balanced. That will likely not be in my lifetime, and certainly not under Trumpies, who want ALL caps off spending, etc.

Well, they had absolutely no problem borrowing 1.5 Trillion and blowing up the budget (yearly) for the foreseeable future.

What could possibly make you think the Leopard would change their spots if they had even more power?

They would do exactly the same things even with 65 votes. The only difference is that they would be sure to extract more from Grandma and poor folks...in addition to the borrowing.

Hmmm...let me put it in a saner fashion.

Those on the left support The People's Money being used for The People.

Those on the Right support it to be used for them personally...Pruitt, the Trumps, Kushner and particular parties they choose (fossil fuels, war toys, etc.).....as opposed to for longer term policies and infrastructure that benefits most people somewhat equally.

Carry on......

Bottom line is that we ARE gonna spend the money - the Left would prefer less gets spent on tax cuts from debt and deficit and the interest payments on same..and the war machine and security state...and more on enhancing our General Welfare and Happiness of the People. You know...those crazy ideas mentioned by our Founders!

Government is always for the rich because using alternative currencies puts you in a cage.

What, you want a smaller government? Nancy Pelosi thinks you're racist and that this action will cause deaths!
