I'm sure she didn't mean to belittle the plight of family separation and camps.
But it takes an astounding lack of common sense to wear something that could so obviously be misconstrued. Were the PR person and the stylist both out sick that day or what?

So, he capitulated to his own creation and we're supposed to hail him as a hero?
Have you noticed that pretty much all the leftists have chosen the "Let's lie about them and see if we can get anyone to believe us" route, rather than address facts?
And they spend the other half their time pretending to wonder why "debate" has become so acrimonious.
All these people have left is pretention, insults, and hate.
Melania is the LIAR. She was and is a BIRTHER just like trump. THAT is a FACT.
Actually, I believe it is about the people who openly supported Trump. They would rather continue being wrong than to admit they were wrong. This is getting to a point where Trump will literally take his followers over the cliff with their once held values.
Only about 1/3 of Trump's support came from a hard core attracted more by the personality than the message, just as only about 1/3 of Obama's came from dedicated "progressives" and SJW's. The rest came from a less-enthusiastic, moderately- (and usually socially-) conservative Republican mainstream, who don't have a problem with diversity, (if not too radical and flagrant), and recognize that a post-industrial society requires a "safety net" (but strongly policed, preferably at the local level, to keep the druggie and illegal alien trash infecting the streets of our West Coast cities OUT).
And that base doesn't include the more-educated (as opposed to Leftist-indoctrinated) voters who went for Johnson because they felt they had little to lose, or the McMullin and Castle voters. Most of them are more-defensively-oriented, concerned with halting the further growth of centralized socialism and the Leftist Deep State -- and if that means keeping the likes of Trump in control of things, so be it.
Trump won because he connected with millions of voters who believe he has identified the real threat to the continued development of true pluralism and the American Experiment. If the majority of these people are white and recognize the opportunity, (not a "privilege") that is being denied them by the Democratic Bureaucratic Elite, it's up to the growing ranks of successful minority-group members to recognize and acknowledge what we ALL have to lose.

No one has said kinder things , or has more respect for Melania, than me. I truly like the lady. However, I have read that message several times, ran it around in my head, and still have no idea what the Hell it means !
Think about it "I don't care, do U" ? Don't care about WHAT ??? If any regular person had that in big letters across their back, we would wonder what statement they were trying to make, and if they were sane.
I just do not get what she was trying to say.
You don’t think it could have something to do with the constant hate she gets from her former “friends”? Or possibly from the people who keep bringing up mean stuff and threats against her kid?

But you are thinking about it.
That in itself could be the point of the message.
To get people to think. Think for themselves even.
That is a message that will never get support in a collective.

Now, I am not in the Free Melania camp. She is a big girl and can take care of herself. She also made some statements supportive of her husband's birtherism, so her politics are suspect as far as I am concerned as a Progressive.
That said, I seriously think something is wrong with these celebs. Their thought processes are not rational.
The woman put out an official statement to the effect that she did not support the separation of the children from their parents. Then she backed up her statements with action, making a trip to down to the area where some of the children are being held.
So when she was seen wearing the jacket, how could anyone be confused in any way about where her heart was in regard to the children. The statement on the jacket may mean something to her, and may be a message to someone, but any rational person could not conclude that the message was intended for the children or the parents. Yet, these celebs went off a cliff with attacks on the woman. It's like their reasoning capacities are in some kind of Quixotic state of cognitive confusion.
The bottom line is that whatever the point of the jacket may or may not have been, it cannot mean, within the context of her statements and actions, anything condemnable. End of story. So the rabid, deranged attacks on the woman are unwarranted!
Oh. Gee. I didn't even think she would be using the world press to communicate cryptically with a mystery person while traveling on taxpayer money.
She ought to be the most hated woman in the world by about now. Its her " let them eat cake" moment.
She s a bigger phoney than her spouse.
Here, this is her only excuse:
It's just her misogynistic husbands equivalent of a "kick me" sign taped to his ex girl friends back in Jr high.
He scribbled all over her jacket just before she boarded the plane as revenge for knowing he screwed a porn star while she was home with their baby Barron.
