I suppose he should have called himself a Capitalists but then enacted or supported Socialist policies, then all would have been good.

Pretty much this.^^^^

I too was an Obama (2008) voter hoping for less war and more support for the little guy.

The only thing that was delivered on and saying that is being VERY generous was a fatally flawed healthcare bill that Obama lacked the fortitude to implement immediately with stronger non-participation penalties.

Cindy Sheehan and the anti-war movement that got some much play in 2008 was quietly eviscerated when they demanded accountability. Turns out they were mostly a partisan coalition not actually concerned with war but with winning an election....at least Sheehan had the principles not to drop to her knees for Bush 3.0, unlike a lot of posters here.

The recession started the last couple months of bill Clinton term. Bill purposely threw the economy into a recession and never really start to recover till the end of Obama term

Poor libsters, ignoring the message while beating the messenger.

Have any of you nitwits seen the latest polls the MSM is pushing for 2020? Guess who's in the lead...an old white guy by the name of Biden.

Obama was a moron and you folks are reaping the devastation of the Democratic party. He was such an egotistical self centered p***k he made no effort to groom anyone.

Keep blaming white people you nitwits

What exactly do you consider giving away billions in tax payer dollars to corporate farmers if not Socialism? Do you honestly consider that Capitalism?

(not that you will answer)
If I am supporting socialism why aren't the socialist supporting me ? Why are they not supporting and cheering Trump on ?

You want to divide up socialism into two different camps. Why not three or four camps. Is the family farmer a corporation or a people ? Seems to me people in the farming industry are people. The cows and chickens aren't running the farm, are they ? When a storm hits an area is it socialism that comes to the rescue ? I haven't heard anyone complain that shouldn't be done b/c its socialism.

People, corporations, then there is open borders foreign populations of the entire world on our socialist teat. Is that the same as giving aid to farmers that might need it until the trade issue is worked out ?

They support other forms in general. One supports programs for the people and one supports programs for corporations. Both are taking money from one and giving it to someone else.

No? Taking from one to give to another is Capitalism?

The programs we use to bribe other countries can indeed be looked at as a Socialist program.
