Are there really that many customers for Harley? I read that due to demographics fewer people were buying. If you ever see someone on a Harley they always have gray hair. Younger people seem to prefer smaller bikes.

I hate it when bikers lane split. Dangerous!
What does that have to do with anything? The point is that H-D employs Americans and because of the push back against Trump's tariffs (i.e., beginning of the trade war) is not going to fire Americans and move a production facility to Europe.
Are you going to make similar comments every time an American manufacturer moves a plant or shuts down? "I hate nails! They're so sharp!"
well, Harley does a nice job with fit and finish...the paint and chrome is beautiful. Suzuki has a lot to offer, but nothing beats a Harley. It is what it is.
Like somebody at VA hospital once said, "Harley has a soul." LOL
It is not a big deal that they want to move part of the production overseas. It will always be a kick ass American bike.

Suzukis are the budget Japanese brand - Honda does a very nice job on the entire paint/chrome thing, if that's your deal. Speaking for myself, I like my motorcycles to do motorcycle-y things like accelerate, turn, and brake, and I'm partial to smooth-running machinery. By those standards, most brands beat Harley.

Yeah, we all know about those Harley Riders for Hillary voters. Go against Trump supporters and they will malign you; go against Trump himself and he will threaten to assume dictatorial powers to tax you and put you out of business...like any good Stalinist.
WTF did I just watch? Guess I'm not in the HD demographic. Also look at that rear tire, that machine has never been leaned.
Why do you even bother to quote me? I wasn't talking to you. I said " I will get myself a low rider." I didn't say I will get myself THAT low rider. sheesh
I know you are not a harley fan. I heard you already. sheesh
Here is what he should simply be allowed to do. By going after Harley he will also alienate a good number that voted for him. As to my point, quit alienating these people by calling them names, let Trump alienate them.
Actually that is not what is happening...
Better go have a look at an HD forum...
Here here are some samples of what people who buy and own HD have to say about this...
Quote:
It's ALL about America....if HD wants to betray America and it's people....pizz on them.....
Maybe its time for me to have that "one off" custom bike build. Have been loyal to HD for years but fact is I can have a better looking better performance bike custom built for less. No way would I buy a imported HD especially after years of being loyal to see my money go to American workers.
They want to lay off workers in spite of tariffs and can not hang in there to see what trade negotiations can be made, Fine. I won't buy another bike from them ever again! You do not get to put corporate interest before American workers and get away with it!
They can take their BS and shove it up their ass for all I care. Just like I shut off the NFL I can put a forsale sign on this heap or trade it in to Indian dealer down the road.
Well. This didn't go as I had hoped. I wish they could have hung in longer and see what negotiations could have been met, but since they want to cry poverty when they already get a big mark up on these things ohwell. I won't be buying another bike from them if they want to worry about corporate profits first and American Jobs last. I hope Trump does tax them out of existence.
HAHA So much for that tough guy image they like to tout in commercials and magazine ads! First to fold like a cheap suit. *itches the whole lot of them! I hope they fail.
