He is being questioned by congress in a closed meeting today. The public, of course, will get two completely different versions of his testimony. A democrat version and a republican version. Of course, many people are not following this news anyway.

Why is this questioning done in private?

Because he was also part of the Mueller Investigation, which could keep him from answering fully because of sensitive information he knows. If he is guilty of any crimes, lock him up.

Well, I want to hear his answers.

No doubt he will use "I don't remember" or "I don't know".

In reading some of the texts, I get the impression that Strzok was doing it all for the nookie.
I don't think he cared that much, but his girl wasn't going to give him any peace if he wasn't #resist.

Either way, he had an opinion on the Presidential race, just like every other FBI agent, and according to the IG, it did not effect his work.

I'm interested to see what Strzok has to say. Apparently he's been eager to discuss his story and has been asking his supervisors for months to talk about it.

And as the OP said, we will definitely get two different versions of today's testimony, CNN and Fox will both spin their own versions of the truth.

Not true. The IG report said Strzok DID have a bias in regards to his/Muellers Russia investigation.

I thought the IG said that while people had plenty of bias, it did not taint their work. Also, that he would have came to the same conclusions as the investigations?

Maybe it slipped by me because Mueller already had removed him from the investigation when he found out?

Until they convene a grand jury and call these people before them its just another dog and pony show.
Political theater and entertainment oriented without accountability.

Look at Reality Winner. She has already been sentenced and these clowns haven't even been arrested.

Yes, your recollection is correct.

But, the IG's conclusion is difficult to believe.

I would have real trouble not letting my feelings get in the way of my work, but I'm not an FBI agent.
I'm hoping that with the rigorous training, that they're better at it than we are.

That said, bias will go both ways, and there were plenty of Trump supporters in the FBI.
