Yes Obama placed limited restrictions on people that had traveled to those countries on the list, it was the visa waiver travel program, not an entire ban on refugees and travelers. Refugees from all those countries particularly Syria, Iraq were already heavily vetted in procedures that took years.

Vetting involves extensive checking of official government databases to which we have no access. We don't have access to birth records, medical records, school records, employment records, military records, criminal records, etc. As for taking years, liberals were clamoring for war-displaced refugees to be flown over here immediately.

Yes refugees are in fact heavily vetted by several agencies, multiple interviews, contacts over the course of years. No one was asking to fly over refugees immediately you are mistaken, Trump halted the program for those already screened because of his fear mongering. This didn’t come from Homeland it came from Trumps own mind.
