It makes no sense to me why this has blown up to be such a big deal. When the adults commit crimes and are arrested then the children are separated while the adults are dealt with, this is consistent with the commission of any crime with children present. These are criminals (crossing the border illegally is a criminal act). These adults knowingly commit a crime what do you expect will happen to the children?
If an adult robs a bank and has a child with them what do you think happens to the child? They are taken and sent some place else away from that parent.
I just don't understand all the liberal weeping going on. Can anyone understand this madness by the Democrats/Liberals? As for these adults - they deliberately place the life of the child in extreme danger by crossing the border, an insanely dangerous thing to do which could result in death, especially with a child, then once they are on this side of the border start crying about how the immigration agents are mistreating them and their children.. is this for real? I find this laughable.

We’re not talking about robbing a bank or killing someone. Yes, thier parents broke the law but that doesn’t mean you should punish the child, keep the family together until they are all deported.
Or are the republicans so cold hearted that they don’t really give a damn? Because that’s what the rest of is sees regardless of party affiliation or religion.

No. It did NOT "happen under Obama as well" This is nonsense. Its a intentional misdirection. It happened under Obama very rarely. The majority of the time it occurred was when a minor came completely alone-thus already separated from their family, or when other additional crimes occurred.

The violation is basically at the level of a ticket for jaywalking where the adult is issued a citation to show up before the immigration court.
If you were issued a such a citation and your children were with you do you think the police should take your children and put them in custody?
It is my opinion that the administration is attempting to avoid the time frame that requires that status be adjudicated within a specific time frame when children are involved.

We don't put kids in jail because their parents are accused of a crime.
How would you feel if your child was taken away from you?
How would you feel if you were a child and you were separated from your mother?
Quite frankly I don't understand how anyone doesn't get it. Certainly not anyone who believes in God or Jesus or anyone who isn't a decent human being. I have friends who don't believe in God that have much more compassion than Mike Pence.
