You were the one who introduced the 1972 stats, dearie. I compared legal abortion stats to illegal abortion stats in 1972, not to 1985. I then noted that there were more legal abortion related deaths than illegal deaths in 1985 because virtually all abortions by that time were legal and much safer. The number of deaths annually from illegal abortion in the US now approaches zero, because abortion is legal and done by licensed providers under sanitary conditions.

Gosnell was not trained to do abortions, should not have been doing them, and was allowed to get away with what he was doing for far too long because the people who should have put him out of business did not do so.

"Everyone" who thinks I "will support anything a doctor does" is wrong. I certainly do not, and I would be happy for you to link to anything I have posted on CD that would support that opinion. I certainly do not support Gosnell, and I never said I do. He is a nasty piece of work, but he is not representative of the entire group of people who provide abortion services.

If you do not want it to happen again abortion should remain a legal, regulated procedure.

If you want to give the green light to any future Gosnells out there, make abortion illegal so the procedure will be driven underground where there will be no regulations at all.

Sad to see you support the latter.

On the other hand, men like Gosnell will thank you for sending desperate women into their welcoming arms.

Filmmakers of GOSNELL hope to shed light on the real-life events and educate audiences about the evils Dr. Gosnell committed.

Serial killer porn flick for church goers. Not sure why graphic violence appeals so much to religious folk but the bible is full of it too.

It was legal when Gosnell did what he did.

I don't recall people killing born babies preRvW.

There is a lot of evil out there with no abortion involved whatsoever.

That's it true, but imagine how many more Gosnells would be out there with no regulation at all.

Gosnells would be the norm rather than a rarity.

Perhaps the film company that produced, "Gosnell," would be interested in some other topics about slaughter of children.

Here are some ideas: https://www.openbible.info/topics/killing_children

Really? The number of babies found in dumpsters is just the tip of the iceberg, imagine how many were never found.

I remember watching a program where they found several late-term and newborns mummified in old suitcases in an old house that was being demolished. They dated them as being from the 1940's.

Now, imagine how many were never found, buried or thrown in a river, etc.

Getting rid of an unwanted pregnancy or newborn isn't exactly something a person would report to authorities so it could be counted.
