The left wants every judge eliminated or prevented from being sworn in/ appointed, unless they are a leftie.

But shouldn’t a judge rule based on law/constitution and not based on personal political or personal agenda?

It seems the left is giving away their true colors!

Both sides screen judges to fit their agenda, most importantly we need qualified judges regardless of their leanings. Why do you claim only "the left" is guilty of bias, how did we end up with Scalia and Clarence Thomas.

I want a fair judge regardless of their leanings but this theme that only the great "textualists" truly understand the constitution is complete nonsense. The claim that judges are "legislating from the bench" when decisions don't go your way are tiresome.

Nowhere in the Constitution do we relinquish our due process/privacy rights by freely doing business with a private company. Nowhere. But that is how four justices ruled. Go ahead, explain it to me and then explain why so many seem to support that.

The problem with getting judges who are truly fair...they are all paid by Govt or the state, so naturally they are going to be biased in that regard, the Supreme Court is the worst of the worst, it should really be called the Federal court.

I think it is crazy how the Left is flipping out that Trump gets to pick another judge for the SC. They are having melt downs that this will be the end of America as we know it. Roe V Wade is history, Guns will be unrestricted, and all sorts of terrible things will happen for at least a generation.

The Left is unhinged over this but I suspect if Hillary had won and she was picking judges the media would be silent on criticism but praising her to no end.

We have seen Federal judges block Trump on many things and the rulings certainly seem political and that is not right.

A judge should be applying the law to a case and not interpreting it to endorse an agenda by a political party.

We saw this happen over Trumps travel pause from dangerous areas of the world and the Left judge shopped until they found one that would torpedo the pause and choose party affiliation over our safety.

We need balance in the courts especially with the way the Left has been acting. I fear the day they get back into the WH.

What a joke. Republicans are constantly obsessed with driving fear. They control the presidency, the House, the Senate and the Supreme Court and they FEAR? Is that going to be the driving force in 2020? "Yes, we own everything, we control everything but everybody needs to be afraid?"

Yes, the right wing Supreme Court will definitely change things like abortion. It will almost certainly go to the states. My state passed abortion rights outside of Roe V. Wade but there are four states that have a pending law that should Roe V. Wade be overturned, abortion will automatically be illegal in their states. Those states include Louisiana, Mississippi, North Dakota and South Dakota. Seven states have laws to restrict abortion to the maximum the law will allow so if Roe V. Wade is overturned, abortion will be illegal there too, they include Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, North Dakota and Ohio.

Merrick Garland.

We haven't forgotten, and we aren't going to.

because many times the law is not clear, because it is impossible to write all the everyday situations of life.

When the legislator writes a law he writes about his time, the founding fathers did not think his laws advocated a baker who did not want to make a gay wedding cake ... they would never predict such a situation, since the notion of baker nor existed and think about free homosexuals and getting married was a social aberration.

You've been told this before but choose to ignore it. Read the fine print when you buy a product or contract for service. It states exactly that to which you are consenting by buying/using the product/service. Caveat Emptor. It's a shame that 4 lefty Judges plus one felt compelled to protect the stupid from themselves, but there you have it.

Not interested in you BS. No company would survive with fine print that said they would freely turn your records over to the government. Not a one.

It's really sad that you can only discuss things dishonestly.
