Trump compared NATO to NAFTA when he was in Canada last month and things are looking more precarious. Trump makes big messes at home but his true danger is global.

Trump has asked the Pentagon to look at large scale withdrawal from Germany too. We currently have 35,000 troops there and Trump and Merkel don't get along. It's also interesting that Trump is inquiring about this before he meets with Putin and before the NATO meeting.

"Since the end of World War II, the U.S. troop presence in Germany has been viewed as a bulwark against a potential Russian invasion of Europe and a staging ground for U.S. operations in Africa and the Middle East."

"What The Times of London calls a “senior EU diplomat” says of these comments and gambits, “we are more and more concerned they are not just incidents. It starts to look like a very worrying pattern” and refers to “an American doctrine in which there are no friends, only enemies” with no “rules-based order”. “It is very dangerous,” the source told the paper."

The EU has alligator arms when it comes to paying for their protection. The typical freeloaders mindset expecting someone, anyone but them paying for their benefits.

So Trump supporters are good with Trump pulling the U.S. out of NATO?

So far we have Trump pulling us out of TPP, out of the Iran agreement, possibly NATO and NAFTA, are Trump supporters thinking the way forward is to be fully isolationist with the exception of North Korea and Russia? Because if Russia was trying to break apart the Western Alliance, he would no do anything different than what is happening right now.

So... It was all about the money! American money, taken by the boot on our throats every April.
No cash flow and it is time to close the doors, eh?

It's amazing, this man will do the bidding of Putin, break up longstanding alliances with our allies, and his supporters won't do anything but cheer.

This goes far beyond the Dumbing Down of America, this is a servile, sycophantic devotion to someone that would make Kim Jong Un blush. The Republican Party was once united against Donald Trump, then he got elected President, and now they kneel before him and wash his feet.

"An educated citizenry is a vital requisite for our survival as a free people." - Thomas Jefferson.

Do Trump supporters support the U.S. pulling out of NATO and pulling our troops out of Germany or not?

If seems Trump values money more than the lives lost by our allies fighting along side americans in countless wars. Meanwhile we want to place nice with the likes of Putin who has only caused trouble for america. Incredible.

Is a non-Trump supporter allowed to answer?
