Reread the OP.

The OP was referring to the candidate's father, not the candidate.

The OP doesn't back up the claim there either.

is your argument that she cant be "from the bronx" if she ever lived anywhere else , or that she cant represent the district because she hasnt lived there long enough.... because either one is a horrible argument for Republicans to make.

You guys have actually helped candidates move so they can compete in certain districts.

The OP's argument is that she is rich, which is funny considering they elected abillionaire who claimed to know what working class people need.

The OP claimed that her father was a millionaire and she grew up rich. That was a lie. She grew up in a modest home and moved back to the Bronx after losing that home following her father's death from cancer.

So a young woman upsets an entrenched 10 term democrat and the criticism was her families background. I don't quite go for all her politics but she is energizing and engaging, this is where democrats need to change. The system in NY and other states is controlled by money party, these changes are good for the country even if not perfect. This is one of the reasons Trump was elected.

Then OP has yet to make the case or link the articles she claims, from what I read she was a waitress and bartender and graduated from BU. Really unimportant in any event.

Another lie.
The smearing won't change the fact she's running for a very safely Democratic seat where the primary is the election that counts, not the general election in the fall, and Ocasio is certain to win against any Republican. Crowley, the guy she defeated, ran un-opposed several times.

So why all the dither? I think the Repub lie machine should go after weaker targets if they wnat to keep the House majority come November. Her election doesn't change a thing, since the seat is already Democratic stronghold.

And Trump will be long gone before Ocasio is old enough to run for President. She still has 20 years to go before she could qualify.
