I'll never understand why liberals are so misguided when it comes to protecting our environment. Why not take steps to help reduce the problem?
So how do you think we should protect our environment since you say liberals are so misguided. Let's hear your thoughts on what we should do.

I've always said that a gun is just a dispenser--most of the technology resides in the cartridge. Hence the liberal approach of banning certain types of guns is not just ineffective; it's abjectly stupid. Ban full autos and criminals switch to semi-autos. Ban semi autos, and criminals will just carry several 6 shot revolvers.

Only kids need straws since some drinks are too heavy for them to pick up.
Okay, Mrs Straw Policewoman.

Nordstrom Cafe has used straws for a while now that you can't use with hot drinks because they melt.

1. Address the real issues rather than .0001% of the problem.

2. There must be a reasonable balance between environmental restrictions and people's need for food, energy, shelter, etc. Obama's EPA went way too far and the power of the EPA grew by leaps and bounds.

3. Stop politicians from passing "feel good" laws that make them look like they care but accomplish nothing.

Note to self: Get on Amazon, order a box of 1000 plastic straws in paper and put a bunch in glove compartment. Problem solved. Car interior saved.
Good idea. I'm going to do something similar from a brick and mortar.

IIRC, I'm younger than you. I don't remember people getting coffee at drive-thrus until at least the 70s (where, as discussed in this thread, straws might be used). Did people get hot drinks at drive-thrus in the 50s and 60s (I defer to your age and experience ) ?

He recently gave a 2018 'version', in South Africa, of his infamous (delivered in Africa) 'everyone can't live in a big air conditioned house or the world will blow up' speech (after having added...post Presidency.....his Kalorama property), continuing in the ranks of high profile hypocrites like Al Gore, DiCaprio, and Tom Steyer.
