Yes and no. Technically a semi automatic weapon was used but it had been modified with a bump stock, a devise that turns a semi automatic effectively into an automatic.
What really gets me is that you guys think that if you are armed you can beat an army. Armed or not armed, you lose. Our military has tanks and bombs. I guess you can say you can go down fighting.

Wasn't it the weak and the freaks who helped build the atomic bomb about 75 years ago? or ICBMs 60 years ago? or any other cutting-est edge military technology even today?
