You're already donating all your money to a rickety health care system. None left for the movies.......

We should privatize police and fire protection, because I don’t like paying taxes for those things.
Many HOAs in the Houston metro pay Constable's Office deputies and Sheriff's Office deputies to do patrols of their subdivisions.

As of a few years ago at least, fire protection = still optional in some places in Tennessee.

You should learn more about tax avoidance in your own country. *shrug*

Nah, in your world handing out copies of Mein Kampf is totally acceptable since you didn't write it...the same defense you're using by posting links to "Mr. Vampires" blog.

Now I'm envying this woman for her marvelous freedom - I can only decline an ambulance because it's my right, but she has the additional freedom of it being unaffordable........... you don't happen to work in advertising. by any chance?

one that has short waiting times
covers more unsual cases
and pays out high malpractice settlements

In other words is comparing apples and oranges. I am not really sure which is better myself. However I am quite sure that Canada does not get free medical care.

Mathguy......... we're talking about a woman who hurt her leg in this thread, with a mention of health care here and there. My link is in another thread about the inhumanity of Americans and why that is.

Keep up kid.......

Just paid my Mom's ambulance bill in Canada. $45.00 -- Canadian. That's about 34.19 US. in today's currency.

This is the taste of freedom. People who vote for big pharma and insurance puppets love this and cant get enough of it. And its going to get far worse.

Next up will be huge cuts to Medicare and kicking everyone with any pre-existing condition off of health care.
