Can anyone point out the law that requires the FLOTUS to not earn money while FLOTUS? In fact, can anyone point me to the law/rules/framework in the US Constitution or anywhere else that details the election process for FLOTUS, her salary, the conditions of her employment, etc?
Eleanor Roosevelt traded on her status as FLOTUS and earned more money than FDR did, at least one year, and she bragged about it. She was paid to write columns and give speeches, an her status as FLOTUS is what got her the money she was paid.
Michelle Obama published 4 books while she was FLOTUS. Hillary published books while she was FLOTUS. Both traded on their fame and notoriety as FLOTUS when they inked those publishing deals.
So is Melania's "crime" that she might make more money than other First Ladies have when they were trading on that fame, or is it what she makes money on?
According to a recent USA Today article, Melania reached a deal with the Getty Museum to sell photos of herself and is profiting from her role as First Lady. She is alleged to have pocketed between $100,000 to $1, 000,000.00 from the deal. The article further stated that she also tried to censor how those photos were used.
Her use of her status as First Lady to make a buck is some really trailer trash park behavior.
It all raises the question of why a family that is allegedly worth 10 billion dollars have to debase themselves and their positions for what amounts to peanuts? Are they just a family of grifters?
Have you seen her talk, her speeches are worth a penny. She should do herself a favor and keep her mouth shut, or forget the other 5 languages and learn English properly. Listening to her is cringe worthy. My sincere best advice to her is to keep quiet.
Also no one told her that "Be Best" is stupid. She forgot "the" or "your".

Melania is a birther with skin just as thin as her husband's. It's laughable that she would complain about "bullying" after supporting all the things her husband has said and done.
