NICE job of completely ignoring what the importance of the word 'trend' may be.

Sorry, but in much of the US the records are from 1953 and 2011, not 2018.

Earth’s hottest periods—the Hadean, the late Neoproterozoic, the PETM—occurred before humans existed. Those ancient climates would have been like nothing our species has ever seen.

Modern human civilization, with its permanent agriculture and settlements, has developed over just the past 10,000 years or so. The period has generally been one of low temperatures and relative global (if not regional) climate stability.

Why don't you read An Account of the Extraordinary Heat of the Weather in July 1757, and the Effects of It by John Huxham and get back to us.

A 5 billion year-old planet. Modern humans have existed for about 25,000 years. We're nothing but a belch. We'll be gone in another 50-100,000 or so, and something else will take our place.

The earth will shake us off like fleas, and will be OK.

Sorry, nobody will change a thing in how they live. They will nod their heads sagely and then go about doing what they have always done.

To believe otherwise is delusional.

That is especially true for the Democrat leftist elites who promote this alarmist agenda most loudly and proudly. Those people have no intention of inconveniencing themselves to even the tiniest degree for any of this.

NAll your links were to local events. There have always been heat waves and droughts. We are talking about a global phenomena here. Not one area. Not one country. Not one continent. But the world.
